The powerful light waves carefully target the affected areas. IPL wavelengths are absorbed by the melanin and haemoglobin in the skin, causing the pigment to fragment and be naturally broken down by the body. Following treatment, the dark skin cells are shed naturally, reducing the appearance of the colouration.   

 

The treatment is also a popular and successful anti-ageing treatment as it boosts collagen production, tightens the skin and minimise pores.
